Motorola Milestone

The Motorola Milestone is a mobile phone that is designed in a side slide keyboard form factor, and is powered by the Android v2.0 operating system. The handset is a level 5 Android API device and supports Android 2.0 SDK Device Emulator Image. It has a capacitive touch screen, directional pad, Home/Menu/Back/Search touch-sensitive buttons and a physical and virtual keyboard. The phone supports a 480 x 854 (WVGA) display that has up to 16 M colors support and 240 dpi pixel density. It utilizes the GSM 850/900/1800/1900 / W-CDMA 900/2100 or 850/1900/2100 MHz network bandwidth, GPRS/EDGE Class 12 WAN, HSDPA 10.1, HSUPA 5.7, 802.11b/g and 802.11i (WPA2) wireless LAN, WEP, WPA, Bluetooth Version 2.1 + EDR connectivity, micro USB connector, high speed USB 2.0 support, 3.5 mm headphone jack and microphone.

The phone also features a 5 megapixel camera resolution that has a maximum image capture resolution of 2592 x 1936, autofocus, flash (dual LED), geotagging capabilities, image stabilization, scenes mode, white balance and 4 x digital zoom. The camera supports JPEG with EXIF 2.2 file format, and has video recording capabilities for H.264 file format with 720 x 480 (D1) resolutions at 24 frames per second. It also supports 30 frames per second recording for Android support format, AAC audio recording format.

It streams AAC, AAC+, AMR-NB, H.263, H.264 and MPEG-4. Other features on the Motorola Milestone includes OMA DRM 1.0 forward lock for images and music digital right management function, speakers, memory card (up to32 GB supported) and SMS/MMS/Email protocols (Exchange ActiveSync 2003 and 2007)/POP3/IMAP4.

The Motorola Milestone is a mobile phone powered by a Texas Instrument OMAP3430 processor with up to 600 MHz processing speed, 256 MB RAM, 512 MB flash ROM, and a FAT32 memory card. The phone also supports a microSDHC, Class 6 slot for a memory expandability up to 32 GB. Other features on the phone include a 32 GB memory card, a 3-axis accelerometer, four-way screen rotation, magnetometer, Proximity Sensor, Ambient Light Sensor, Android WebKit browser, assisted GPS for enhanced 911, E-Compass, standalone GPS with internal antenna, tricolor LED, vibrate notification, and voice dialing activation. It also features a hi-resolution, multi-touch and pinch display and provides users with the ability to use multiple applications at the same time.
