Rajesh Khanna’s Funeral

Rajesh Khanna’s funeral was held on the 19 of July 2012 and a lot of people made an effort to attend the funeral despite the heavy rains. Rajesh Khanna’s colleagues came as well, including those who played supporting actors in his film. Amitabh Bachchan, who said he became famous because he acted alongside Rajesh Khanna in ‘Anand’, was at the funeral and decided to walk all the way from his house to the cremation area with his son Abhishek Bachchan – and it was not an easy thing to do!

 

Also spotted were Akshay Kumar, who’s Rajesh Khanna’s son-in-law and Dimple Kapadia, who’s Rajesh Khanna’s wife. His fans came too standing on the road to catch a glimpse of the deceased superstar.
