Since last week, French choreographer Benjamin Millepied returned to the town where he learned ballet, Lyon. He was working at the Opera de Lyon in France where his two ballets will be shown until the 23rd of December 2011. Natalie Portman and her baby of six months Aleph dropped by to see him as well. Needless to say in some of these shots below, Benjamin looks like a man in love with his work. He received both good and bad reviews for his tribute to George Balanchine this week in Lyon. It seems that he enjoys being interviewed in France. I guess there, they respect ballerinas more and also he’s their hero – scored Natalie Portman!
