Though India has abolished all things to do with royalties way back, Saif Ali Khan will be crowned or coronate as the new Nawab of Pataudi replacing his father. Surely, they can’t make a mistake like that. If royalties titles were abolished then why or how can Saif be coronate? If he is indeed coronate then that won’t make him a very good Nawab.

I mean, the guy is an actor. His father, the late Mansoor Ali Khan was not called Tiger for no reason. He WAS Tiger. Saifu is nowhere near that. Sure, if worshipping Kareena Kapoor is one of the reasons for his coronation then maybe he does deserve that. You can cast your thoughts and vote below at the end of this post.

Enough of the coronation, let’s head back to one of the big news of last week : The Death of the Nawab of Pataudi – Mansoor Ali Khan aka. Tiger. I first saw Mr. Tiger was when he came on ‘Jeena Issi Ka naam Hai’. The show had dedicated an episode to his wife actress Sharmila Tagore. This was the first time I ever saw Saifu’s papa.

Pictures of Mansoor Ali Khan and Sharmila Tagore were shown on the big screen from the time they were really young to that time. He was a really good looking man. I mean, that was some good looking guy that Sharmilaji managed to get. I came to learn that he was one of the finest cricket players in the country as was his father and grandfather.

He was the youngest Indian cricket captain at the age of 21 where, get this, he played with only one eye. And, he was amazing at that. Tiger lost his eye in a car accident when he was about 20 years old. He could only play or had an eye to play. Imagine the number of games he won with only one eye. Saif comes nowhere near his father’s good looks and gentleman mannerism.

Mansoor Ali Khan and Sharmila Tagore have three children – Saif Ali Khan, Soha Ali Khan and Saba Ali Khan. Saba is the only one not in the Indian Film Industry. In the picture above, this is how the Nawab of Pataudi should dress with his princess by his side. Now begs the question as to how Saif Ali Khan will handle all that – his royal duties, I mean. I can imagine the glow on Kareena’s face when she will see Saif’s being crowned as the Nawab. Only then maybe she would want to marry him.

A little history on Saif Ali Khan. He was married really early to actress Amrita Singh, who was some years older than him. They have two children together – Ebrahim & Sara Ali Khan. He then left Amrita for an Italian model and lived with her for over two years. After that, he ended up with actress Kareena Kapoor, who he was working with in ‘Tashan’. The media frenzy surrounded this relationship was like nothing seen before. Saifu even tattooed her name on his arms, something really weird to do when you have two grownup kids, an ex-wife and are in your forties.

At his father’s funeral, Saif had this to say to the media, “It’s a sad moment for all at home. I’m extremely thankful for the support extended to us. It’s overwhelming. People from all fraternities – sports, cinema, politics, media – have sent their condolences. They’ve said beautiful things about my father, and I’d like to thank them for that. Even he would’ve been most grateful for all those kind words and warmth shown to him.”

As per reports and rules, Mansoor Ali Khan was the ninth and last Nawab of Pataudi. So what do you think? Should he be the new Nawab of Pataudi? Should Kareena be the princess? This is really funny actually! Things that used to have dignity at one time, now……..

I said it is not your business, and don’t intefere in this.
let the people in Pataudi deside that.
and i see you are the Joke by the way not Saif.
He is a good Person at hte end. and nothing bad he did.
Really? We are the audience and viewers, we have a right to make it our business. We are not going there, beating him up and posting our opinions in print, we are merely stating it and asking readers to give their opinion hence the vote. Who are you to say he’s a good person? Is he your father or brother?
