Hottie of the Day: Cam Gigandet

When I watched ‘Twilight’, all I saw was the handsome Cam Gigandet who unfortunately got kicked off the ‘Twilight’ series. And, this is why I don’t watch this movie – no matter how successful it is. Cam played second-fiddle to other stars in many other films, more recently ‘Easy A’.

Biography
Cam graduated from Auburn High School in Auburn, Washington in 2001. His family lives in Lake Tapps, WA. His fathers name is Jay, mothers name is Kim and he has one older sister, Kelsie. His father is one of the founders of a popular restaurant chain called The Rock, Wood Fired Pizza & Spirits. Cam resides in West Hollywood, California.

Gigandet enjoys basketball, golf, skiing, and surfing, and he is a practitioner of Krav Maga, a self-defense system developed by the Israeli army.

Gigandet and his girlfriend, Dominique Geisendorff, welcomed daughter Everleigh Ray Gigandet on April 14, 2009.

• His girlfriend got him to start reading the Twilight series two months before he got the part of James.
• Has two tattoos, one on his right arm and the other on his left hip that says “Godspeed”.
• His last name is pronounced “Ji-GON-Day”.
• Has a black belt in the Israeli martial art of Krav Maga.
• Daughter, Everleigh Ray Gigandet, born on April 14, 2009. She weighed 7 lbs. 6 oz. Mother is Dominique Geisendorff.
